Terms of Service

Effective date

Key information

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities between the Company and users, and the conditions and procedures of use, when using the mobile game Pawtheon and related services (the “Service”) provided by ItSum (the “Company”).

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. User: a person who uses the Service under these Terms
  2. Account: an account created by the Service to identify users. There are guest accounts (accounts created right away on the device) and Google accounts (accounts linked through Google sign-in).
  3. Account number: the 8-character code shown at the very bottom of the game's Settings. It is used to find the account when you contact us.
  4. Game currency: Coins (obtained only in the game) and Nyam Stick (purchased or obtained in the game), which are used in the game
  5. Store: the app marketplace where users download the game and pay for products. This means Google Play and ONE store (offered only in the Republic of Korea).
  6. Paid Nyam Stick: Nyam Stick bought with money in a Store (including Nyam Stick received from the Starter Pack). Free Nyam Stick: Nyam Stick obtained through the tutorial, area rewards, ads, Facility production, and so on
  7. Product: things sold in a Store, such as Nyam Stick packs, the Starter Pack (1 per account), and the Ad Pass (a permanent product that gives the same rewards without ads)
  8. Probability-based items: things whose result is decided by probability, such as Invite, where you invite neighbors with Nyam Stick, and Fusion, where you gather Followers to meet a new Follower

Article 3 (Publication and Changes to the Terms)

  1. The Terms are available through a linked screen in the game and on this site. The Company's name, representative, business address, business registration number and contact details appear at the bottom of the page.
  2. The Company may amend the Terms within the limits of applicable law. The changes, reasons, effective date and a comparison of the previous and revised terms will be announced at least 7 days in advance. Adverse or material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance, with individual notice through the game, email or another appropriate means.
  3. Users who do not agree to amended terms may terminate the agreement. Where renewed consent is required, the game asks for consent before play begins. Refusal to consent does not itself remove statutory refund rights.

Article 4 (Matters Not Covered by the Terms)

Matters not covered here are governed by applicable laws, including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc., the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Game Industry Promotion Act and the Content Industry Promotion Act, and generally accepted practices. Any separate operating policy will be made available to users and will not restrict their rights contrary to applicable law or these Terms.

Article 5 (Service Agreement)

  1. The agreement is formed when the user reviews the Terms and Privacy Policy, completes the consent process on the initial game screen, applies to use the Service as a guest or with a Google account, and the Company accepts the application.
  2. If it is confirmed that a person used someone else's information, or that a person who has already received a permanent restriction of use has signed up again, the Company may refuse or end the agreement.
  3. The Service is available only to users aged 14 or older. Users must confirm that they are at least 14 when starting the game. Children under 14 may not use the Service.
  4. The Company does not collect dates of birth. If a user is found to be below the minimum age, the Company restricts the account and deletes the account and personal information in accordance with applicable law. A legal representative may request deletion at loves2kill2@gmail.com.
  5. To prevent abuse, the Company may limit the number of accounts that can be created from the same internet address (IP) in a short time.

Article 6 (Account Management and Guest Accounts)

  1. Users must keep their accounts secure and must not transfer, sell or lend them to others.
  2. If a guest account is not linked to Google, you cannot sign back in after deleting the app or its data, changing devices or losing the device. You will also lose access to progress and purchased products. You can link your account through Continue with Google in Settings. Recovery may be limited where account ownership cannot be verified; include your account number or order number when contacting us.
  3. A linked account can continue on another device using the same Google account.
  4. An account can be used on only one device at a time. Signing in on another device transfers the active session to the later device.

Article 7 (Provision of the Service)

  1. The Service can be used only while connected to the internet (online only). Data charges follow the plan of the mobile carrier the user has subscribed to.
  2. The Service is free to access, and some products are paid.
  3. Game progress is saved on the Company's server, and the progress verified by the server is the standard. If the records of the server and the device differ, the server's record applies.
  4. In principle, the Service is provided 24 hours a day, every day of the year. However, use may stop during maintenance.

Article 8 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)

  1. The Company may change content, balance, and products when needed to operate the game, and announces changes that are important to users in the game in advance.
  2. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance, and emergency maintenance (outages, security problems, etc.) is announced even if only after it has ended.
  3. If the Service stops because of the Company's intent or negligence and a user could not use a paid product, the Company compensates in accordance with applicable laws and the Content User Protection Guidelines of the Republic of Korea.

Article 9 (Paid Currency (Nyam Stick) and Product Purchases)

  1. Products are bought through the payment system of the Store where you buy them (Google Play or ONE store). Payment methods, receipts, and payment cancellations also follow the policies of that Store. The price is the amount (including VAT) that the Store shows on the purchase screen.
  2. The purchase screen shows in advance the product details, the price, whether withdrawal is possible, and the reasons for any restriction.
  3. Paid Nyam Stick and free Nyam Stick are combined into one wallet in the game and are used in the same way. Regardless of which Store they were bought in, they go into the single wallet of the same account. When counting “unused paid Nyam Stick” for a withdrawal or an end-of-service refund, the standards below apply.
    • Each time Nyam Stick is used, free Nyam Stick is deemed to be used first. Therefore, unused paid Nyam Stick is the smaller of “the Nyam Stick you hold now” and “the total of paid Nyam Stick that has not been refunded”.
    • Among paid Nyam Stick, what was bought first is deemed to be used first.
    • The refund amount is calculated by multiplying the payment amount of that product by “the number of unused Nyam Stick among those received from that product ÷ the number of Nyam Stick received from that product”.
  4. Nyam Stick can be used until the Service ends, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other currency or handed over to another account.
  5. The purchase records of the Ad Pass and the Starter Pack remain on the account and are kept on other devices too when you sign in with the same account (for guest accounts, see the warning in Article 6, paragraph 2).
  6. If the payment was completed but the product did not arrive, please close the game completely and open it again. If that still does not work, please contact us following the purchase restore guide.
  7. Coupons may be redeemed once per account within the stated validity period, and rewards are delivered by mail. Mail rewards cannot be claimed after the displayed retention period expires.

Refunds of Overpayments

If an overpayment occurs, such as a duplicate charge, you may request a refund from the Company or the Store of purchase. The Company will refund it to the original payment method within 3 business days after receiving the information necessary for the refund. If that method is unavailable, we will explain why and provide an alternative. No additional charge applies to an overpayment caused by the Company.

Article 10 (Withdrawal and Refunds)

  1. You may withdraw within 7 days after receiving the purchase contract information. If supply occurs later, the period starts when the product is supplied or supply begins. Any different starting date or period required by law applies. No penalty or fee is charged for a valid withdrawal.
  2. Withdrawal may be restricted for used Nyam Stick or digital content whose supply has begun, such as the Ad Pass, only when the legal requirements are met. The Company must clearly disclose the restriction and provide trial use or information as required by law. If these measures are not taken, withdrawal remains available despite the reason for restriction.
  3. The unused portion of a partly used Nyam Stick bundle or Starter Pack remains eligible for withdrawal within the period in paragraph 1. Quantities and refund amounts are calculated under Article 9, paragraph 3.
  4. If a product differs from its description, advertisement or contract, withdrawal is available within 3 months of supply and within 30 days after you knew or could have known of the discrepancy. The statutory rules apply regardless of the usage restrictions above.
  5. Requests may be made through the Store of purchase or by email; see Refund Guide. For a valid withdrawal from digital content, the Company refunds payment within 3 business days from withdrawal and promptly requests suspension or cancellation of the charge from the payment provider. Statutory late-payment compensation applies to a delayed refund. When the credit appears on your payment method may vary by Store and payment method.

Article 11 (Payments by Minors)

  1. For a minor to make a payment, the consent of a legal representative (such as a parent) is required. The purchase screen gives notice of this.
  2. If a minor paid without the consent of a legal representative, the minor or the legal representative may cancel that payment.
  3. However, cancellation may be restricted where the minor used deception to make others believe the minor was an adult or made it look as if there were consent from a legal representative, or where the payment is within the range of pocket money that the legal representative allowed the minor to use (Articles 5, 6 and 17 of the Civil Act of the Republic of Korea).
  4. When cancellation is requested, the Company may ask for the minimum material needed to confirm that the person is the legal representative, and destroys that material immediately once the confirmation is finished.

Article 12 (Refunds and Recovery of Granted Currency)

  1. If a payment is canceled through withdrawal, Store refund, chargeback or another cancellation, the Company recovers the corresponding Nyam Stick. A full refund recovers the full grant; a partial refund recovers the refunded portion. The server's adjustment is reflected on the next connection.
  2. If Nyam Stick has already been spent and the balance is insufficient, it may become a negative balance. Nyam Stick cannot be spent while the balance is negative, and future earnings first cover the shortfall. Upgrades purchased with Nyam Stick are not reversed.
  3. Refunding the Ad Pass ends its benefits. A refunded Starter Pack retains its 1 purchase per account record and cannot be purchased again on the same account.
  4. Repeated refunds may be reviewed for abuse, but a legitimate withdrawal or refund request is not itself treated as abuse.

Article 13 (Probability-Based Items)

  1. In accordance with the Game Industry Promotion Act of the Republic of Korea, the Company publishes the types of probability-based items, the probabilities by grade and of each individual result, and the guarantee conditions (for example, Epic or higher guaranteed within a certain number of times) in Rates in the game and in Probability Info on this site.
  2. When the probabilities are changed, the Company announces the changes and the time they apply in advance through an in-game notice and on this site.
  3. Results are decided by the Company's server according to the published probabilities, and on-screen effects and the timing of taps do not affect the results.

Article 14 (Advertising)

  1. The Service has rewarded ads that appear only when the user chooses them. If you watch an ad to the end, you receive the reward that was shown. If the ad cannot be loaded or you close it partway, there is no reward and the daily count is not used up either.
  2. Daily counts reset at 00:00 UTC (9 a.m. Korea time), based on server time.
  3. The relevant provider's terms and policies apply to ad content and transactions with advertisers. The Company remains liable under applicable law for its intentional or negligent conduct.

Article 15 (User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct)

Users must not do the following.

  1. Manipulating game progress, currency, time, or the device date, or tampering with or analyzing (reverse engineering) the app, the server, or communications
  2. Attacking or hacking the server with programs not permitted by the Company
  3. Playing the game with automation tools such as macros or auto-clickers
  4. Repeatedly using an error (bug) while knowing about it
  5. Selling or buying accounts or game currency in exchange for money or other goods
  6. Using another person's payment method, account, or receipt, or unfairly repeating refunds
  7. Impersonating another person or pretending to be an employee of the Company, or interfering with the operation of the Service
  8. Any other act that violates the law or these Terms

Article 16 (Restriction of Use)

  1. When the Company confirms conduct under Article 15, it may restrict use in stages as below. A stage that has been reached does not go down even after the suspension ends.
    StageDetails
    Stage 1Temporary suspension: 4 hours
    Stage 2Temporary suspension: 24 hours
Stage 3Permanent suspension (the account cannot be used)
  2. Automatic restriction: For Invite, the game server treats requests that cannot be sent from the normal game screen (a neighborhood that does not exist or a wrong count, a neighborhood that has not opened yet, sending an already-used request number again with different content, or a request that skips the order) as manipulation attempts and counts them. Each time such requests are confirmed 10 times within 1 hour, the next stage in the table above is applied automatically. Requests stopped by the call limit (5 in 10 seconds, 15 in 1 minute, and 120 in 1 hour) and insufficient Nyam Stick rejections are not counted as violations. Repeated transmissions of the same request are not counted more than once.
  3. For other violations of Article 15, the Company applies the stages in the table above according to the severity and number of violations after checking the records. Where the harm is great or hard to undo, such as hacking, server attacks, or fraudulent use of another person's payment method, the Company may impose a permanent suspension immediately without going through the earlier stages.
  4. The Company may recover or roll back game currency and progress obtained by improper means.
  5. When use is restricted, the game shows, when you connect, the fact that use is restricted and the time when you can use it again (for a permanent suspension, a notice that the account cannot be used). The reasons for restriction and how to file an objection are as written in this Article and Article 17, and if you contact loves2kill2@gmail.com, we will tell you the reason for that account. In urgent cases, notice may be given after the restriction.
  6. Account deletion remains available while use is restricted. If you cannot use the app, you can request deletion by email (Account Deletion guide).
  7. Each time progress is saved, the game server checks it automatically; a save that goes beyond the possible range is not accepted, and progress is rolled back to the last progress on the server. This is a save rejection and is different from a restriction of use (suspension).
  8. Where use has been legitimately restricted under these Terms, paid products that could not be used during that period are not compensated. The handling of paid currency in a permanently suspended account follows applicable laws.

Article 17 (Objections)

Users may submit their account number and reasons for an objection to loves2kill2@gmail.com within 15 days of receiving a restriction notice. The Company responds within 15 days of receipt, or notifies the user of the reason for delay and the processing schedule. If the objection is justified, the Company takes appropriate action, including lifting the restriction. Any liability for damages is governed by Article 21.

Restricted users should submit objections within that period. If there is no objection and the account remains restricted, the daily cleanup deletes the account and game data after the default 3-month (90-day) retention period. An administrator may extend retention by 90 days for review. Accounts whose restriction has ended are not automatically deleted for this reason, and voluntary account deletion remains immediate during a restriction. Payment records are retained separately for 5 years under applicable law after voluntary or automatic deletion.

Article 18 (Termination and Account Deletion)

  1. You may terminate the agreement at any time through Settings → Delete account. If the app is unavailable or the account is restricted, you may request deletion by email using the Account Deletion guide.
  2. Deleted progress, currency and product entitlements cannot be restored. Requesting a refund before deletion helps us verify your purchase. Account deletion does not itself remove statutory withdrawal or refund rights.
  3. Transaction records required by law, separately stored refund counts and operations alerts are retained as stated in the Privacy Policy.
  4. There is currently no automatic deletion of inactive accounts. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete the server account.

Article 19 (Service Closure)

  1. If material business or technical reasons make continued operation impracticable, the Company may close the Service and will announce the closure date, reasons and refund process through the game's linked screen and this site at least 30 days in advance and notify users individually.
  2. Unused paid Nyam Stick will be calculated and refunded under Article 9, paragraph 3. Other paid products, including the Ad Pass, will be refunded or compensated under applicable law and the Content User Protection Guidelines, taking usage and purchase conditions into account. The closure notice will explain the criteria and request process. Closure alone does not exclude all refund rights.
  3. A channel for refund procedures will remain available for at least 30 days after closure. The end of this period does not extinguish rights guaranteed by law.

Article 20 (Obligations of the Company)

  1. The Company complies with the law and these Terms and makes efforts to keep providing the Service stably.
  2. The Company protects users' personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
  3. If a user's opinion or complaint is justified, the Company handles it quickly, and if handling takes time, it tells the user the reason and the schedule.

Intellectual Property

Rights in the game, images, music, text and other content belong to the Company or their lawful owners. Users may use the Service as permitted, but must not infringe those rights by copying, distributing or selling content without permission or a legal basis.

Article 21 (Damages and Liability)

  1. A party that breaches these Terms and causes loss to the other party is liable in accordance with applicable law. A party without intent or negligence is not liable.
  2. The Company is not liable for inability to provide the Service due to force majeure, including natural disasters. The Company is not liable, to the extent it is not intentional or negligent, for losses caused by user fault, external network, Store or advertising outages, device or operating-system changes, inadequate account security, or deletion of data by the user.
  3. The Company is not liable for losses arising from free services unless caused by its intent or gross negligence, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
  4. The Company does not guarantee expected profits or game results. Loss of game progress or currency caused by the Company's intent or negligence remains subject to liability under applicable law.
  5. This Article does not exclude liability for the Company's intent or gross negligence, or liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Article 22 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. If a dispute arises, the Company and the user first consult with each other in good faith. Users may submit complaints to loves2kill2@gmail.com.
  2. If consultation does not work, the user may apply for mediation to the Korea Content Dispute Resolution Committee (www.kcdrc.kr, 1588-1500), the 1372 Consumer Counseling Center (www.ccn.go.kr), or similar bodies.
  3. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and lawsuits are filed with the court that has jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea. Any special jurisdiction provided by applicable consumer law takes precedence.

Article 23 (Translations and Users Outside Korea)

If a translation differs from the Korean original, the Korean original prevails unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Rights that cannot be excluded under the law of the user's country of residence remain applicable.

These Terms take effect on .
